Protect free speech
I don’t care what side you fall on we all must agree that protecting free speech and expression is so important especially with all the laws and the government trying to silence ordinary people. Even if you don’t agree with someone it doesn’t mean they deserve to be silenced and or deplatformed. Two things can be true at once and I think that’s something people need to really grasp someone could be an awful person and still have amazing ideas and still have valid opinions and just because they are in your eyes not a good person doesn’t mean they still don’t have the right to speech as it is literally a fundamental right for all citizens
Not optimised for phones
This app doesn’t run properly during long pre-recorded streams and streams period. The live-chat is often slow especially if there are a certain number of viewers. It’s painfully slow to type in the live chat especially as it takes 10-20 seconds of attempting to input one word in it and another 10-20 seconds of it being sent through.
What really makes this horrible is the fact that it can’t handle videos or prerecorded streams that last for more than 5 hours+, often reducing it to 4 hours max and cutting some of the content off. In addition to this, attempting to watch long videos smoothly is nye-impossible as the videos pause randomly and then refuses to play at all.
Overall the app needs a lot of work to be as good as the up and coming platforms which is sad because I really like the content creators who trust this platform to promote their viewpoints and ideologies.
Freedom!
Nice to be able to listen to other sides of the storey - as well as the coordinated message we are getting on mainstream media. Listen to people with real life experience on the topic with contacts at the heart of the storey. It’s refreshing to be able to expand your understanding and knowledge whilst remaining alert to people’s natural tendency to see things from their perspective. Highly recommended alternative to mainstream sources, you are not constantly bombarded with ads and “herded” in a single direction against a single narrative.
