There are a number of rules that can be modified, making this game very faithful to the original.

- Choose the AI level of opponents.

- Number of turns before being able to lay down a combination.
- Number of points required for the first meld.
- Sequence required or not for the first meld.
- Card taken from discard pile has to be played or can be kept.
- Final card to be discarded or played.

Good game
Love this game and the app but it would be better if the card sizes were bigger so it’s easier to distinguish the suits. It would also be nice if when I win, the points are accredited to me and not to the IA I’m playing against!
Would also be great if, like other apps, there are winning graphics and/or puzzles or goals to achieve as you keep winning.
Just some ideas but otherwise a great game which I play far more than I should be!
Hmmm
This has to be the strangest version of Gin Rummy I have ever played. The object of the game is to get “out” as soon as possible. It is not to amass a score. So there is absolutely no incentive to build up a high score through runs/melds. If another player gets out before you, then, if your score exceeds 500 points, you are out.
The basis of gin rummy is that you aim for the highest score possible and then, if you are given out, your remaining cards are deducted from your scored points. The way this game is structured is the opposite. That’s where the negative points score comes in. And the result is that the player with the highest score wins.
It seems that the designer of this version misunderstands the basic concept of gin rummy. And all it takes is for the coding to be changed ever so slightly to reflect the correct basis.
All in all it’s still fun but I wouldn’t pay for it until the changes are made.

This game is very good
This game is very good, you should definitely give it a go if you like to play rummy. It’s probably my favourite card game app on my phone. But I gave it a 4 because sometimes you can feel cheated and there is ads after every game. But atleast the ads are put after every game and not during. And it’s quite easy to get into and not to hard to navigate through the menu.
