Love this app

I’ve loved using this app to complete my first half marathon following the 12 week plan. Plan was manageable and I really liked the app - good training notes, and I liked seeing how my training had gone with the green circles for a completed run. I pretty much stuck to the plan with only two runs I wasn’t able to do. I loved the decision being made fir me as to how long I was to run and on which days - made it dead easy. I completed my half in 2 hours 13 this morning which for a non-runner as at May 2019 I’m dead chuffed with! 😁

Great app

I’ve been using this app to get my fitness level back after not having run too much over the past year due to injury. My instinct when I create my own schedule is to add too much distance too soon and this has given me some more appropriate running goals. It works really well with my Garmin and uploads the runs without any technical glitches. It’s mildly annoying that you can’t swap the schedule around if something unexpected comes up and you can’t run as expected on one of the planned days but you have to expect some drawbacks with the free version. There are no annoying ads or in app purchases. It’s a really good quality app i definitely recommend it.

Run With Hal

I’ve been using C25K NHS run app many times, once “graduated” I find that I become lazy as I have nothing to work towards and can never find an app that caters for 5k on to the next, 10k is a bit too far fetched for me at the moment. However, Run With Hal has totally changed that for me and gives an 8K training option, something a little more feasible and realistic. I do have one negative though, the notification settings on this app doesn’t work, everytime I try to set it up the app crashes. I’ve tried to reinstall and restarted the training plan various times but still crashes on every attempt.
