Great to have on mobile and table but work still needs to be done
Still going to be playing mostly on PC but it’s great to finally have the option to play on mobile / tablet. However the UI on both needs addressing mobile so many buttons are to small to tap and a lot of the interfaces need there own look and not be ported from the PC version. Tablet is much easier but again the UI is just scaled up and everything looks blurry or pixelated.
It’s a great start but lots to still address to make the gameplay and enjoyment of mobile better.
Banned for legit no reason
Apparently banned for real world trading and Botting even though NO money has come into my account and can quite easily see my log from that, and decide to close the case so you cannot even reply, so I can’t even try and get to the bottom of it or to see if my account was compromised. So now have this mark on my account. No help line / contact email. You’re literally in the dark and now I’m worried about loosing my account that is around 15 years old. To treat LOYAL players like this is disgusting. Cheers jagex for your understanding….. not ! I’m still active but so scared about loosing it for something I’ve honestly not done. So here’s a 1 star for having no contact and no help 👍🏼

obviously you don’t thoroughly look though do you? Because there has never been money come in or out of my account. But even if I was hacked, you’ve swept me under the carpet. You take take take and never help because of the useless customer support (there isn’t any) people give / trade gold all day but that’s not against rules, and not once have I bought money unless it was a bond through your bombardment of MTX Options on the game

I’ll give my review in two parts, the actual app and the game overall.
The actual app - it’s clunky, unresponsive and still littered with ways to get to micro transactions. You may be thinking you can do pretty much anything you can on the desktop version, good luck! Try doing the end game bosses on mobile and you’ll want to tear your hair out at how clunky this feels. You’ll most likely use this to play RuneScape when you’re slacking off at work (as an existing player, yes if you’re remotely casual you will just quit this game).
The game overall - what was once a nostalgic mmorpg has become a full-on cash grab, monetisation everywhere with glacial updates. The devs have resorted to Quality of Life updates as regular updates (bug fixes, minor inconveniences removed etc etc). While these are good, Jagex month after month have fallen short on actual content in the game. Only play this game if you can deal with - clunky mechanics/game play, 0.6 second tick rate, out of date graphics and player models and seeing little to no updates years on end.
