How does it work:
The Input Gain Knob makes your sound loud’n'proud with the S950’s unique grit and warm distortion. It’s powerful and will help anything stand out in your mix.
The Audio Bandwidth Knob controls the target sample rate and analog-to-digital conversion circuitry with an exquisite, yet remarkably subtle, aliasing effect.
The Filter Knob controls the S950’s infamous steep low-pass filter. Use it on separate elements, or on any output bus or master section.
The Mono switch button is for mono operation (as the original S950) with a 50/50 mix. Great for checking your mix.

Brilliant brilliance
This is a great AUv3 unit which can brighten up your track or entire mix.
One small issue is the size, the controls are small with my eyesight not being great I do have some difficulty reading the dB reading, if this could be enlarged it would be amazing.
I hope this could get some kind of update to make it bigger.
I would still recommend this.
Top of the bottoms
No idea when or why I bought this because I had no idea what it did so forgot about it for months. Then I found it, watched a few videos, duly applied it to drums and bass and twiddled the first two knobs until it slowly dissolved my kidney stones. Top marks for that. I try it on everything now, even when I know it probably won’t work. Why not? There are lots of bass notes on a piano...
Does what is says on the tin.
Close emulation of the original. Perfect on drums, taking off the highs with the filter.
To those that say it only works in mono, did you try toggling the mono switch?
When lit the sound will be in mono. Turn it off and your back to stereo.
SIMPLE NO FRILLS and gets the job done and it this price you can’t go wrong.
