RxGuidelines is populated by using our custom built, online, publishing platform; offering healthcare professionals and non-developers the ability to “build” their own applications in areas such as guidelines management, e-learning and public information.

Delete and re-install to make work
I’ve had this app for a while and it’s so useful to have our trusts antibiotic guidelines to hand on my iphone. When it works it’s fantastic.
However, the app stopped working after an iOS update about 6mths ago. It just froze at the Rx screen when I tried to open it. I was just about to leave a review slating it because of this when I thought i’d try one last thing - deleting and re-installing the app..... ta da... working perfectly again.
Hope this helps other people, as reading other reviews, I’m not the only person who has had this issue.
Note to the developers - perhaps you should include this advice in your app description.
Not a bad app but a bit clunky and basic. I have also experienced the issue described by another reviewer where the app wouldn’t load past the splash screen and I had to delete it and reinstall. I had contacted the company about this but had no response.
There’s not a lot of choice for prescribers really - if your institution chooses this app then you don’t have much choice but to use it. It could be better but it could be worse.
Easy to navigate but update process is clunky
The app is useful for getting the information needed, even when out of reach of the internet.
It would be helpful if downloaded guidelines could be updated in the background, ideally automatically, as the app is ‘dead’ until the update completes.
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
