Safe Places and Keep Safe schemes provide a safe haven you can go to if you need help while you are out and about in the community.

This free-to-use smart phone app automatically locates the nearest member registered Safe Place and directs you there step by step no matter where you are in the UK

Safe Places app has been updated to include Voice Activation.

Once the shortcut has been set up in SIRI you will be able to be directed to the nearest open Safe Place by simply talking to your phone.”

Through Voice Command the Safe Places app will only direct you to a Safe Place if it's is within a 15 minute walk.

If not, it will either offer to call for help for you automatically, or advise you which number to call for assistance.

App works exactly as advertised

However, we have several safe places in our town and none show up on the app. How do I get them added so they show up on the app please?

I think the idea of 'safe places' and this app is brilliant. However be aware that at the moment there only a few schemes listed.
