Hi Apalon, your response to the below reviews seems fair enough. And your advice to go to ITunes & App Store - Apple ID - View Apple ID... is fine, but I don’t have a ‘subscriptions’ section, I just have ‘Purchase History’ which has no ‘Manage’ option. Apalon’s Scan App IS in my ‘Purchase History’ - currently saying £0.00. As such I am concerned I have unintentionally signed up to a Free Trial, have no way of knowing whether I am ON a free trial and therefore no way of cancelling within 24 hours. This seems like a potential rip off of non tech savvy people but your below responses make me hope it is not and your good reviews are bonafide. A response about how to (a) find out if I’m on a free trial and (b) cancel said trial within 24 hours would be so appreciated I’ll be leaving you a 5 star review... thanks!

If there is no subscription tab visible - it might mean that you do not have active subscription and there should be no charges to your account. Unfortunately, being developers we can not see the status of your subscription as we do not have any access to users' accounts. In case you would like to receive confirmation of your actual purchase if any, please contact Apple support directly.

I’ve emailed multiple times to explain my complaints but every time the app gets updated it becomes worse and worse. The crop tool is much smaller now and it’s very hard to get a decent looking scanned image that doesn’t look like a photo. It used to look scanned and now it looks like a poor photo that is hard to crop. Also, I mentioned that you couldn’t rearrange separate scanned images within the folder the way you’d like as it takes you out of the folder any time you try to move it which is something I brought to your attention almost a year ago and it’s only gotten worse. And now whenever in a folder I will try to scan an image so it will automatically will save there (a function that it previously had) and it again saves outside the folder which is very inconvenient as I then have to pick it up and find the folder I wanted to put it in which is very time consuming because I have a lot of folders. I’m not sure why the updates are making it harder to use but can it go back to normal as it’s not providing anything better than using a normal camera, the scans are a much poorer quality and the cropping is very difficult to do as you can’t close up. The automatic scan function also flashes too quickly and doesn’t focus well enough to get a good image. If this doesn’t get fixed I will have to cancel my subscription which is such a shame because it used to be so easy and good when I first got it.

Thank you for reaching out. Please follow some tips to get the most out of your scanning process. Find an illuminated space and choose the comfortable mode of scanning: manual or automatic. Hold your device perpendicularly to a document and try not to move for a few seconds. Please keep in mind that we have two modes of scanning: manual and automatic. You can always choose the most comfortable one for you in "Settings" and continue scanning docs at your own paсe. We hope this information helps you. This app helped me so much to upload loads of exam papers now and from the past. This was helpful to me by taking homework pics that scan perfectly for these days since we r in pandemic! I have seen the reviews for some ppl that they r upset that they didn't really get their money back bc they didn't want to pay or anything like that and this app is a total dump and they r scammers but trust me by the experience of mine, i have had this recommended full 5 stars without hesitating cuz nothing of that stuff ever happened to me or to any of my friends! Thank you developer and hope everyone is safe and locked up in their houses. Hope you reply.
