Description

Schengen 90 allows you to count how many days you can stay in Schengen area according to 90/180 days rule.

The maximum duration of authorised short stay is defined as "90 days in any 180-day period […]". The notion of "any", implies the application of a "moving" 180-day reference period, looking backwards at each day of the stay (be it at the entry or at the day of an actual check), into the last 180-day period, in order to verify if the 90 days / 180-day requirement continues to be fulfilled.

The app checks how long you can stay not violating 90/180 days rule by checking 180 days periods back from every day of your planned stay and counting days from your past trips.

Features:

- Checks for any entry date
- Shows latest departure date
- Shows nearest full 90 days stay entry date

Not counting November dates

I added 21 days November 2021 and 15 days January 2022. Telling me I’ve still got 75 days left?!?! Doesn’t seem to be counting the November dates though they are still within 180 days ago. Surely I only have 54 days remaining?

I think I understand now. So as it’s a rolling count if I stay from today 75 days the November dates are being removed within this time period.

Developer Response ,

Hi! Yes, the result is unobvious but correct. Days from your November trip are not affecting your stay length even if on the beginning of your trip they are in 180 days time frame. But because time frame is moving with your stay, 180 days are counted back from every day of your stay. That’s why your stay length is 75 days. You can check result with official eu calculator at https://ec.europa.eu/assets/home/visa-calculator/calculator.htm?lang=en

Not accurate

Previously used, and still use a spread sheet, has lost me 20 days, over a year of multiple visits, 12, so sorry can not be relied upon. Pity, there are others who require payments and if as inaccurate a waste of time and money, so I will stick with a spreadsheet!
