I’ve been using this app for many years, during that time there have been occasions where notifications haven’t prompted on my phone even though the settings are all correct. I’ve been told in the past to reinstall the app when this happens. This did fix the issue however it was temporary. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve had to do this and now even when reinstalling the app, notifications just don’t come through. There have been several times where I’ve missed events at school as a result. Please find a permanent fix as the app is pointless otherwise

My child’s school used a text message service before but SCHOOP does the same job as far as parents are concerned, but the school can choose which year group to send to which is great for them. Occasionally alerts stop coming through and I’ve heard a few parents have had to reinstall the app when this happens. I’m on the PTA and have access to it for our alerts which saves us a lot of time and paper. Brilliant!

The Schoop iOS app is incredibly frustrating to use. Navigation is clunky and far from intuitive, making it difficult to find basic features. The interface is outdated and poorly optimized for modern devices, often appearing distorted on newer screens. Performance is another major issue—the app lags frequently, and actions take far too long to execute. It also lacks proper accessibility options, making it unusable for individuals relying on assistive technologies. Overall, this app needs a major overhaul to be remotely effective.

The school I work in uses this app and I really wish the school my children attend would use it.I've set myself up for updates on all classes so I know what is going on all over the school and I can answer parents queries when on door or gate duty. I love the fact that if there is an update it appears on my locked iPhone screen so I don't need to go into the app if there are no updates.

So my school use this to contact the parents/ pupils outside of school however as I have switched from a IPhone 5S to a IPhone 6 the app is unusable. I installed the app about ten minutes ago and I've uninstalled and reinstalled and all the app does is let you look at something for 30 seconds and then it crashes. Please Fix this bug as quickly as possible. However on my old IPhone 5 and 5S the application runs absolutely perfectly but they are used as "dock phones"(phones I keep on a dock all the time) but are fab at giving me notifications in the morning before school

I enjoy the app and the ease of access for information from the school as I am unable to carry out the school run.On regular occasions the app will stop showing notifications on my Home Screen. The only advice to rectify is to delete and reinstall the app! Until I realise that I haven’t received a notification for a few days I can sometimes miss notifications
