Must be improved

Where to start with this, after putting in approaching 30 scores this year I’m well placed to comment and as a software developer arguably better still.

The app regularly looses players scores, utterly infuriating when cards have not been in regular use.

The app can make it impossible to select the correct tees on sone courses with the tee selection manes being truncated onto a single line making it impossible to see the end of the liberal

No ability to request deletion of scores which leads into multiple insertions of the same score. I currently have 2 duplicates , my playing partner got 6 in the last few days.

Overall the basis of the functionality is there but it really needs to be polished but more importantly it needs to be made reliable as the frustration of using the app at the moment is very high

Missed opportunity

This app should be a godsend to Scottish Golfers, however, it’s poor user experience telly is a let down. The app is overly complicated and has not undergone sufficient user journey mapping. I recently received a penalty score for failing to submit a general play scorecard when the data was lost while attempting to input my final score while walking off the 18th. A fumble while ducking in response to a loud “fore” closed the app and my score was lost. There should be a fail safe/multi step confirm at the least. This app could be very much improved. I hope that user data drives such improvement.

This app is terrible, glitchy, completely non user friendly and only permits you to enter your score if you are physically at the course itself, otherwise you get an automatic default penalty score when you’ve declared to put a card in. If you have no connection or the app is playing up (which it frequently does) then you can’t possibly submit authentic scores.
