Need to get a plug-in
Having bought and installed this, I set up to do a recording. Only when I chose to record the system audio from the drop-down did it tell me that I needed to download and install a plug-in to do this. I don't want to do this. I am wary of plug-ins that byepass the system software. Nowhere on the App description page does it make any mention of the need to do this. I will be seeking a refund.

I can't believe what great value this software is. I need to record screens for online videos, and the range of options this has for the price is excellent.
It doesn't have a zoom function like the more expensive software, but it has customisable mouse tracking, works seamlessly with my USB microphone, reembers my preferences, can record any window or whole screen, and can add a custom logo. Custom desktop is a nice feature too - you can set the desktop background to anything, useful if you have files on your dekstop that you don't need in the finished video. I personally found the trim feature to be unnecessary as I prefer to edit the footgage in other software, but it could be useful if you are just making a quick explainer and don't want to record the bit where your mouse clicks ' end recording'. Definitely one of the most trusted apps on my mac, thank you.
Okay but glitvhy
Hi
The app worked fine with external audio but I clicked on the audio help it tells me to install a plug-in to get the computer audio. This I did and followed the instructions but it seems not to work. I'll try and sort it but this is no good for recording computer audio for the price.
