Brilliant, must-have app

I think I’ve written about one app review in my life, but I honestly don’t know what I’d do without this app so I thought it deserved a good review. It’s a simple, easy-to-use, straightforward app to keep all your passwords safe. I used it to randomly generate basically all my passwords so they’re different (previously massively guilty of using the same password for everything) and I don’t have to worry about memorising anything cause I just quickly open the app, use FaceID to log in and can copy my password for anything. I like the capacity to categorise passwords and the ‘changed to this on this date’ feature. Only thing is I wish it allowed more passwords to be saved without having to pay for a subscription, but I paid nothing for the app so can’t really complain.

Not Suitable For General Public Use

I’ve been using this app for almost two years with all my passwords being kept using my iphone touch ID login, however after i upgraded my phone, I’ve gotten recalled of my password authentication since I’ve been using touch ID to login to my account. I can’t even recalled in saving the recovery link authentication that you need to save first just incase you forget the password. Now, I was in dilemma and in frantic situation where I can no longer retrieve my account. I called for developers assistance through email but nothing offered less than to search for my previous saved link. I’ve even emailed my passport for identification of me. Unfortunately, they cannot help me retrieve my account. If I can call my bank to reset my password, or apple to simply call me for identification in retrieving my account, how can this app gets the worst services assistance in helping its customer retrieve their account?. This apps password recovery method is so meticulously technically difficult for general individuals specially for the old ones. Unless they change their methods, there is no way for you to use this app. I don’t know if my account is still active, but gutted that I have to go back to zero.

Simply brilliant

Update August 2017: so finally after about 4 updates and a phone upgrade (from iPhone 6 to 7) the app now behaves as did six months ago... only 4 stars as the secure mail wasn't working last time I tried.

(Amended 11May:) downgraded app even further. This app is now unusable and recent upgrade has not fixed. BIG negative as app is now 100x slower to load. PLEASE improve that as quick access to passwords is a must.
I am already using another app for my frequent access password. Also the text can no longer be selected from notes without editing the text to select which makes the app a real pain if you store info in the text field (and you simply cannot select in offline mode).

This app should rank higher on searches... as it beats all other password store/vault apps hands down. Functionality is top class: multi app platform, including a web access (which I use more often than the iPhone or iPad app), password generator, time-out, password inherit, offline use, file vault etc. The basic service is free and you then pay for what you need. I have hundreds of passwords and I am gradually adding these to SecureSafe. The file store is perfect for storing those important documents and files. The import function is very well designed. Of course it can be improved (search function, more fields etc) but this works simply and securely. Well done Developers!
