Not as good as they say
Its a real shame, the image is no where near as good as they show you in their advertising video's, assistance basically said it looks ok to us, when i contacted them, never got an answer to my question about the camera clicking all the time. Very disappointed.
Ignore the 1 Star reviews
I have noted that there are a number of one star reviews from people either upset that you have to buy an "expensive" camera attachment to use this or that haven't used it because they don't have a camera.
To answer one question. Yes you have to buy the camera and no you can't use the iPhone camera. They are totally different technologies as the iPhone camera is an optical camera and the seek is a thermal camera that measures infrared and not visible light.
This is a companion app for the the seek camera hardware and if you don't have one then this app is not for you.
Very handy camera
First, don’t download this software if you think it’s going to work without purchasing the thermal camera required, it will not work on the normal iPhone cameras. Different technology altogether.
The thermal camera is very well designed and compact. No heavy or bulky items to carry around with you. Very easy to use and many options for the camera, the only draw back I have found or not worked out how to use is the storage case that comes with the camera is to small for it to fit into. Strange but true. Apart from that, I’d highly recommend this product.
