Send My Bag App 4+

I have used this service now 4 times. It’s cheaper than postal services, and it’s quicker!! So much faster than anything I ever post. I used it to move stuffs between UK and France and between Spain and France. Takes 4 days which is great and never had any issues. The + is that they come pick it up.
Could not recommend anything else but Send my bag. Thank you for your service and the bill peace of mind you bring 🙏

Terrible experience shipping a bag to Portugal.

In March I shipped a bag from Oxfordshire to Lisbon. The bag was delayed through customs as someone at SendMyBag gave DHL the wrong fiscal number (they copied the fiscal number of my lawyer from my NIF certificate and not mine!). Mistakes happen however and this wasn't a great issue for me.

When the bag arrived however, DHL unexpectedly charged me an additional 80€ for 'customs/duties taxes'. When I enquired about this with SendMyBag they told me that it was due to my paperwork not being in order and ultimately it was on me.

I then contacted DHL Portugal whom informed me that the charge comprised of a 5€ storage fee (due to the delay) and a 75€ fixed handling fee added to all imports for processing- and nothing related to paperwork.

This was very frustrating as SendMyBag had essentially misled me completely. When I called back with this information the call handler said he was sympathetic towards my situation and a supervisor would call back with a solution- possibly a goodwill gesture. This phone call was never received and when I called a final time I was told they didn't have any information and I should send an email with all of the details/evidence...

Massive waste of time, money and shockingly bad service to top it off.

I would highly recommend sendmybag...I have used this service for my daughter taking her uni stuff from Northern Ireland to London and vice versa and we have just used it to send our son uni things across to Idaho USA .... amazing!! The live chat were so helpful when filling out the customs forms and they delivered 4000 miles in three days!! The sendmybag app was brilliant, I could watch every movement of the bag!! Loved it!!
