What’s New
Version 2.2.6
This update brings a few improvements and bug fixes:
- Added support for BFI Player, Cultpix and updated the Disney+ icon.
- On iPad, you can now tap on the selected library in the side bar to navigate back to its main screen.
- Fixed: Connecting to Trakt by merging your data could cause larger libraries to disconnect immediately.
- Fixed: Importing your Trakt library would incorrectly reset the ratings of your games and books.
Ratings and Reviews
A fantastic app
I’ve tried many different media tracking apps over the last few years. Sequel is by far the best I’ve come across. It’s beautifully designed and very well thought out, so I find it a pleasure to use on a daily basis. It tracks a wide range of formats and it has so many wonderful touches in terms of the interface (e.g. the ability to open a book directly in the Apple Books app). Tracker apps have come and gone from my phone over the years, but Sequel will definitely be here to stay!

Love this app, simple yet highly functional.
There is a premium version with a reasonable subscription price or a one-off fee which in my opinion is a bit much but other than that it’s fantastic!
Just to add, the premium version adds some good features but is not necessary to use the app so if you are looking for a free app then this will still work great!
Needs one more thing
This is a really polished app that’s quick and easy to use.
What’s missing is imports. Being able to import your history from other places would be great. TV shows from Trakt. Films from Letterboxd. Books from Goodreads / Storygraph. Games from GG / GameTrack.
As a bonus, take an episode of a TV show, when I go to that episode, I’d like to click on an actor and see details about them, and I’d like the guest actors from that episode to be there too. Maybe this is just impossible from the dataset the developer is working with?
