Description

SerialMailer is the bulk mailer that cares about privacy and sends mails directly through your normal email account.

It lets you add personalized details to your mass email messages while keeping all your recipient lists locally on your computer.
Give each message a custom name, order number, or even attachment. Engage your customers and colleagues, or show your friends and family that you care – when it comes to bulk email messages, a touch of personality goes a long way!

The mail for each recipient is sent on its own, just as if you had manually composed a new mail for each of your contacts.

What’s New

Version 8.3

* When connecting to Microsoft email servers, SerialMailer will now use their native connection method instead of standard SMTP. This change is particularly important for business accounts that may have SMTP disabled.

best bulk mail client for private persons

I bought in the past quite a few bulk mail clients. Falko's application is by far the best one when it comes to personalising, in intimate intregation with your Contacts appliation (or BusyContacts, in my case).
Because you can additionally use all html commands, your plethora of possibilities in designing your e-mails are much richer than any comparable application.
Do not buy this, if you are one of those sharks, sending millions of unrequired e-mails, and hoping for just a few gullabe victions of your scams to make a quick buck.
This application is only for private, decent individuals, who have a rich social life, and intend to write only to people they personally know. You will surely enjoy using it, as an example at Christmas time, or, in fact already these days, before Rosh haShana.
Thank you, Falko. You are the only one, who has not dropped developing his bulk mail client only after a few years.

Super Easy, Super Simple

I’m a complete novice but this App makes things so easy. I had trouble adding my business account to the App but after a quick email to the developer (they responded very, very quickly) it was all resolved. Great how you can use the free version even though it’s only to 10 recipients. Will most likely purchase the full version to save even more time. Thanks for making a great App.

Looks very promising, but perhaps not quite there yet

Having had an afternoon with the free version of this app, I’m quite impressed. It does most of what I need and would hope it to do, pretty intuitively, and I’ve taken a reasonably complex email successfully to preview stage without any significant difficulty. Nice.

However, it was when I tried to actually send my mail that I struck problems.

First, I tried to create a mail account from scratch, manually copying the account credentials from my SMTP account in Apple Mail (which, of course, I know works!). Sending the email failed.

Next, I deleted that account, and used the the option to import an account from Apple Mail. I checked all the configuration options, and they all looked fine - as they had when I created the SMTP account manually - but sending the mail through this account also failed.

Finally I created an account to send through Apple Mail. This worked fine, and did successfully send my test emails, but of course this method does not permit the use of formatted text, which very much limits its utility.

It looks to be a very useful app, one for which I will happily pay real money to be able to use, but if only if I can send formatted text. If it can only send plain text then it doesn’t justify the cost …

We'd be happy to look into why sending through SMTP didn't work for you. You can contact us directly at https://www.serialmailer.com/support
Please include the exact error message that SerialMailer reported. Thank you!
