Best RPG on the appstore
After my computer went kaput I needed an alternative game to play and really wanted a good Diablo 3 clone, but all the other RPGs on the appstore are kinda tacky and Far too many buttons in the lobby. This game does suffer from some of the same tropes but the artwork is immaculate and the classes are fun and varied.
Things that could be improved:
More compact lobby buttons, some of the things could be bundled together a bit better. (Even better a small nexus area with npcs like in demon’s souls would be really cool if possible)
Levers. Never underestimate how satisfying pulling a lever to lower a draw bridge is, I feel such a simple action brings a sense of interacting with the world and slows down the gameplay a bit, which I feel is a bit too rushed, early levels taking as little at 20 seconds to complete.
Character development; now I’m not gunnu tell you to write tomes of lore and dialog because I don’t think anyone wants that. But a bit of backstory for the characters and some more somber emotion in the way they speak would go a long way.
Finally, and probably most importantly, the way you move you character should be sharper and slower at lower levels and get bonuses from leveling and items.
Anyway looking forward to playing this game more and you need a serious pat on the back for bringing such a contender to the IOS platform.
Great game, shame about the voices!
This is an amazing game, fun, generous (you really don’t need to spend loads of money to play) and compelling.
However, those awful voices are driving me mad. My main character Claude is dressed like a superhero but sounds like the sort of nutter you try to avoid on the bus as he spends every battle mumbling ‘this is it’ to himself, over and over again...sometime 30 times or more!! On several occasions I have thought ‘this is it’ too and switched the game off.
Crashes seem to be fixed now, so perhaps ‘this is it’!
Fast paced game
Have been playing for a few weeks now. If you like Kritika or dungeon hunter then you will like this. Graphics are great, game very generous with gifts, easy to upgrade very enjoyable. No need to spend cash to progress, although you can if so desired. Well worth a download.
