Version 7.9.0
We’ve made it easy to view and download grant agreements on the go from our new documents section. Additionally, new international ACH cash delivery methods were added for Indian Rupees and Philippine Pesos. We also made some minor updates and bug fixes to make your experience even better.
Ratings and Reviews
Good app
App is good but not the most user friendly. Can at times be a little complicated looking.
Understanding which shares are which and where they came from/taxable or tax free. Can be a bit more simplified.
No incentive to use the app
Usually it is beneficial to use an app instead of the going to the website. Here, that is not the case as you still need to log in each time with 2 factor.
The first time is expected, but then you should be able to use Touch/face ID for subsequent uses. This is non-negociable functionality in an app of this nature, banking apps have it, so it’s not a security risk.
As bad as it gets
Not a particularly user friendly app. Soliun itself is absolutely rubbish. They’ve failed to process one of my instructions last year and have no complaints policy in place. Never got a call from senior management to apologize, let alone any compensation for the execution delay and missed opportunities they’ve cost me.
We as employees are generally stuck with the share custodian provider chosen by our firms but given the choice I’d never do any business with them.
