Amazing!

For 9 month I have been trying to find an app like this and finally I have found it! I am using it for my granite and Quartz business, so I can get the most out of each slab on rough quotes to customers. This app is ideal! Amazing!

Yes there’s a subscription BUT….

I run a carpentry business and we get a lot of work designing & building bespoke storage for our clients. I’m pretty old school when it comes to methods, and haven’t ever learned 3-D CAD or the like. So I basically do drawings by hand, which I’m fine with and I’ll probably catch up and join the 21st century sooner or later, however this app is exactly what I was looking for. Once I’ve made my drawing, and easily derived a cutting list as a result, the problem was always the amount of time wasted on working out exactly how many sheets of ply of MDF were going to be required to complete the job with as little waste as possible. Well this does just that. I entered my sheet material dimensions first, then all of the dimensions of the cutting list parts. In literally less than 5 minutes from start to finish, I had a sheet material cuts layout, telling me exactly how much I’ll need and where to cut them. This has saved me literally hours of annoying calculations. I saw it only had one review, and it was given one star. I can only imagine that it was someone disgruntled to be asked to subscribe. But a just over £4 per month (less if you pay annually) if you’re actually in the trade rather than a DIY chancer looking to do one project at home, I’d say this is invaluable. It’s basic, but does the job it intends to do, so I think it’s money well spent. Yeah there are other all singing all dancing programmes that can both 3D design AND work out cutting lists, but they’re nowhere near this price bracket. 4 stars from me!
