Fill up and pay at the pump, with money back

I've been using this App since introduced. At first some stations were problematic when using Fill Up And Go, however, in the last few months it's worked fine. Beats queuing up when you only need fuel, plus you get a bit back in vouchers.

Not too keen on the other offers, plus you need to go into the shop to use the money off fuel vouchers. If Shell could be a bit more generous that would more welcome 😀

Fill Up and Go has been very reliable for many months now. I don’t get so many offers as my mileage has dropped due to work - pushed into early retirement, probably. I’d hoped to move to an electric car and pleased to see Shell moving forward with this. Then I’ll be pleased to shop for a while while I get a recharge, hopefully, Shell will also move the shops forward :-)

Appalling performance

I’ve been having constant issues with points not being added to my account after I fill up. I use Fill Up & Go so my card is linked to the account so I don’t have to go inside and present it. Weekly emails to the customer service team to manually add points to my account, which they do do swiftly. The other day, I opened the app and again it had logged me out for no reason whatsoever. I try to log back in, and for several days I get an error message “technical issue with server” and it doesn’t allow me to continue or anything. I’m getting fed up of this. Seriously thinking of dropping Shell and switching to someone else. It’s too much hassle trying to stay on top of my points because I can’t trust the app to do it for me. It’s a simple reward system. Coffee shop apps seem to manage it ok.

Edit: I changed my password as per the security recommendation, and it still doesn’t allow me to log in. So I deleted the app and redone loaded it, and it allowed me to log in!! Hooray!! An hour later I open the app again to ensure it’s still working, and I’m getting the same issue, it’s logged me out and again won’t allow me to log in due to “server technical issues”. Meanwhile my Costa app has retained all my loyalty points and has never logged me out once 👍🏽

Slow start but Shell Succeeds!

Didn’t like it appreciate the new phone app when it was introduced earlier this year, preferring to gather my points rewards via Shell card and receive the benefits 4 times a year by post. However, four months in and I love the new app and it’s many rewards having received multiple redeemable rewards, albeit for smaller amounts but more often, then occasional surprises such as free Costa Coffee’s, further discounts and always 10% off Coffee, Snacks and products. Yes, I’m delighted with the new scheme, having now done away with the old card system, using solely the phone app, (far too many store/debit/credit cards in my wallet). Once again, Shell have proven they not only provide the finest fuel and they most superb service station staff, they also ‘ave an awesome app! Super Shell Spells Success So Succeeds.
