Once you’ve worked out what is going on (basing things on finally working out the website version) this is quite a useful app, but could be so much better! It is completely NON-intuitive.

Among useful additions would be the option to edit all 6 timespans for both the charging and discharging options, (currently you can only see 3 out of 6!) and also indicate what the current settings are, instead of always displaying everything as “disabled” and so disabling things whenever you save.

Also it would be nice if somewhere you could look at a list of all enabled times, in time order, so you can check you’ve set all you want to. This would be really useful on the web version, too.

I hadn’t noticed the colour discrepancies noted in other reviews, but some consistency would make sense. In general the charts and graphs are clear and useful. I’d quite like to be able to look back on previous days of SOC as with all the other graphs (again, both app and web) and have the SOC chart on the web update with all the other charts instead of needing a page refresh.

Only 2 stars because of the lack of intuitiveness, but a must if you have a Growatt inverter and batteries.

The app seems to be very informative. It shows the power from my array, the charging and discharging of the battery and the importing and exporting from the grid. It has a grid display showing this information historically through the day and graph presumably linked to it. One issue is I want to ask a question and you can only do this if you verify your phone number which requires a response from the Company which has not happened yet.
I would like to know what the actual lag time is. I believe the information from the system is sent back to China and then back to the app. If this is not the case why is the lag? So it is not possible to see what current you are currently using. Why can’t it be sent direct from the unit. Has anyone actually worked out what the lag time is?
The other day the phone version crashed and I couldn’t log in as it would not allow me to choose a country. I deleted it and reloaded the app. and it was fine.

I’ve seen the generally negative reviews and wonder what you are looking for? The app gives you the essential information you need, is it the most accurate in the world, no, but what app of this type is? I had to laugh at the comments on China taking over the inverters via the dingle. Sure if they can do that it would be an issue, but then they would never sell another system in the U.K. again so cutting their own throats. Too often we look at the Chinese with sceptical eyes and perhaps there is some concern but bad mouthing them is not going to help. The app does the job well enough so accept and move on.
And no I am not Chinese, never been there and no connection in any shape or form before you think I am biased. I am born and bred in U.K. as were my parents, grandparents and can trace all my family line back centuries in Scotland.
