Initially sceptical - sounds too good to be true. Free items and big money off deals. Tried app and easy to pick items you like. I then went for normal shop and added 8 items from app. Not items I would normally buy, but items I would like - result was getting me out of shopping rut to try new things. Claiming back was very simple. Added a bill photo and scanned bar codes of items using app. Took seconds.I picked up 8 items at cost of £26 and received over £11 refund into my PayPal account same day. It gets you to look at different shops as well. So gets you to widen your shopping ideas, into different stores and a very health cashback.A word of warning, I did a massive Tesco shop so 8 items dotted across a large bill. You need to send photo of full bill so it can be difficult to read (not helped in my case due to poor Tesco printout quality). I think they must be checked automatically and initially rejected due to poor quality/blurred. Just replied to email and they sorted immediately. Impressive customer service. Next time I will put the discount items through till as separate item to keep bill shorter.

I used to like this app where I’d get paid straight away and get quite a lot of relevant offers. Now it seems there’s lots of hidden Ts and Cs which I’m not aware of until it’s too late and I’ve bought the product. For example I benefit from Nectar prices and I bought an item I wouldn’t normally get. It said it was valid at Sainsbury’s so I verified it using the app then submitted the cashback. The product would have been free due to the Nectar price promotion . I’m them told because there has to be a difference in the purchase and the cashback the claim would be rejected. I wasted my money. I don’t like this £10 threshold as apps can close down at anytime so I have to grab the opportunity to buy more and quickly cash out. I’ve had issues before where customer service were difficult in refusing to refund 100% of the price of some boxed chocolates which were advertised as free for members i.e I would be reimbursed the full amount. I tried to challenge this but was fobbed off. Then another time I bought something I verified using the app was valid at Sainsbury’s but the terms and conditions said it was only valid at Morrisons.

I used to love this app, the offers are still alright, and they are reputable, it’s definitely not a scam and I have tried so much with them. But it seems so hard to use and look at now, it was so much simpler before, everything is too big and in your face making it hard to concentrate on anything in particular. I tried helping out on the beta and I found my usage of the app went down the toilet because of what I have already mentioned. On this I decided to leave the beta after a couple of weeks leaving them feedback about how I found it and saying though I am always happy to try things like this I just could not stick with it the way it is and I was worried I was missing out on offers because I found it hard to navigate and look at. Everything is there, it’s just hard to concentrate on anything in particular. I happily deleted test pilot and reinstalled the app only to find to my dismay that they have already changed it to this awful layout. I don’t think I’ll be opening this much anymore, and it’s a real loss because I used to look every day for exciting new things to try.
