• HOW IT WORKS: •
- Browse the app to see available products – add them to your selection so you don’t forget them.
- Find the featured products in your local supermarket or online – use our handy geolocation feature to check if they are available in shops near you.
- Buy the products on offer and keep the receipt – if shopping online save the PDF receipt.
- Snap a picture of your receipt (or upload the PDF) and scan the products’ barcodes.
- Once your cashback is validated, the amount will be added to your Shopmium balance. You will need to accumulate at least £10 in your balance before you can withdraw it to your chosen bank or PayPal account.

Very easy to use and claim cashback on Shopmium on various brands and products, foolproof steps below - 1) Open the Shopmium app and find the product in store. 2) Scan the product in the app before buying to make sure you buy the correct item. 3) Buy the product, and KEEP THE RECEIPT. 4) Click the big pink button on the bottom centre of the app home page, take an image of the receipt, and scan the barcode of the product. 5) Accumulate £10 in cashback and redeem it straight to your PayPal or your bank account. Easy peasy. Scan 10 items and get rewarded in the Gold club, with exclusive rewards and anniversary bonuses for claiming cashback at least once every month.
You do need to accumulate £10 in cashback to get it paid out but there are many free and discounted cashback offers available to help reach the target easily, and unlike CheckOutSmart there is no egregious 5% withdrawal fee for withdrawing your cash. You keep all of it with Shopmium as soon as you reach £10 and hit the withdraw button.
Money and fun
Initially sceptical - sounds too good to be true. Free items and big money off deals. Tried app and easy to pick items you like. I then went for normal shop and added 8 items from app. Not items I would normally buy, but items I would like - result was getting me out of shopping rut to try new things. Claiming back was very simple. Added a bill photo and scanned bar codes of items using app. Took seconds.
I picked up 8 items at cost of £26 and received over £11 refund into my PayPal account same day. It gets you to look at different shops as well. So gets you to widen your shopping ideas, into different stores and a very health cashback.
A word of warning, I did a massive Tesco shop so 8 items dotted across a large bill. You need to send photo of full bill so it can be difficult to read (not helped in my case due to poor Tesco printout quality). I think they must be checked automatically and initially rejected due to poor quality/blurred. Just replied to email and they sorted immediately. Impressive customer service. Next time I will put the discount items through till as separate item to keep bill shorter.

This app is literally the best app ever you can ask for anything else it saves me money by offering back half of the money or even more on Some of the items that I buy. This app could be improved slightly better by offering more items and a vast range of items in shops as my local shop for example only has one available offer on this app. Even though I still love this app I recommend everyone to get it don’t be sceptical when downloading it thinking it’s a scam it’s not it’s fully verified some of the items that I buy.
