Brilliant but last update removed functions
Such a great app! It’s a must for replacing the built in iPhone recording app.
But it is disappointing that the ability to monitor using the built in mics was removed in the last update. Please put it back!
Perfect form & function
Apps designed to go with specific pieces of equipment are often a weak point. Not this time. This app does everything you would expect it to do, in the way you would expect to do it. It does not distract from the main task of sound recording, which is to get the content, performance, and acoustics right.
That said, I have not used many advanced features, since my workflow is: record using Motiv on iPod Touch, AirDrop to the Mac, and edit with Audacity there.
Can’t get it to work when live-streaming on zoom
I am really pleased with this mic when I use it for pre recorded sessions. Sound comes out lovely and so easy to use on my phone. I use the video app. But when it comes to using it on zoom. I set it all up first hand like it says then as soon as I leave the app it no longer works. Says audio failed. I brought it specifically for live streaming from an iPhone for fitness classes. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong. If you can let me know that would be great or get this fixed it would be a 5 star. Thanks
