Signalong provides training and resources to assist those with communication difficulties and English as an additional language. Signalong is a key word sign-supported communication system based on British Sign Language and is used in spoken word order. The use of speech, sign, body language and facial expression to reference the link between sign and word.
Signalong use a ‘one concept, one sign’ approach which supports thinking skills and signs specific to individuals can also be de-coded using our methodology to ensure consistency. Our flexibility and extensive vocabulary make us different to other sign systems.
