I lost 20kg in 4 months

I was going skiing for the first time in many years, at 70 years old, 105 kg and with two recent hip replacements I thought it would be good to to lose some weight but had never had much success before just giving up certain foods or trying to diet. Then I stumbled on Simple online and answered the questionnaire. I stated my goal which was to lose 10 kilos in 2 months. Downloaded the App and set it to 14-10 and just followed the instructions, the first couple of days it was difficult to skip breakfast ( particularly if someone in the house made toast!) and not have milk in my morning cup of tea but after 3 or 4 days it got easier and I found I felt great in the mornings and could keep busy, drink water and black coffee and not eat till lunchtime, making some of my fasts 17 or 17 hrs. I easily dropped the 10 kilos in time for the skiing trip and had a great time so I decided to carry on with the Simple way and have since lost another 10 kg and have stabilised at around 85kg, my waist size has dropped from 38” to 34”, I haven’t been in 34” jeans since my early 40s!
The Simple App has changed things I eat, the times I eat, the way I eat and the way I think about food so it’s much more a lifestyle change than a diet.
The great thing is it’s simple and sustainable.

Love Simple

I’ve had the app since last November and have had great success with weight loss and changing the way I look and eat food. Leaning so much about different foods and what they can do for or not for you. I have become more mindful of food emotional eating and proper hunger. Still have days when on the learning curve with emotional eating!! Love the pop ups with advise and encouragement. I’m not part of Facebook etc. so don’t upload photos etc. But I don’t think I miss out on not having this, I get enough help and encouragement from the app in other ways.
However; since the apps new layout I do miss the calorie tracker. I understand the change. I just found it very helpful to keep track on what I was consuming each day. I also miss the Fibre and Protein tracker that was there before. This was very helpful maybe more so that the calorie tracker. Maybe there’s a way of having this particular part reinstated, similar to the fluid intake tracker this very helpful and I like the app reminders. As I only drink cold water or Hot water maybe a Matcha tea during the day. But the pop up reminders are very useful.
So to sum up. Simple has been a brilliant addition to my daily life. Thank you. Xxx

I wish I’d found this app sooner!

I love this app. It really is so simple. I’ve been following the intermittent fasting plan for 9 weeks and lost a total of 20lbs by simply eating my calories for the day in a shorter window than I would usually. I started with a 12 hour eating window and as the weeks have gone on I have gradually reduced this to a 6 hour eating window. The insights and helpful hints on this app are fantastic. Everyday I get a new piece of advice, lots of scientific ones too, to read through to help motivate me to push through periods of hunger. But I have to say once I got past the first week, the hunger wasn’t a problem. The app will update you with your current body status, like when you’re in the ketosis stage or autophagy. When you see the health benefits of those stages the hunger soon eases. There’s no calorie counting or weighing ingredients or foods you can’t eat. It’s the best diet I’ve ever done. Although I don’t really see it as a diet anymore. It’s genuinely changed my eating habits and I really do think this will be a lifetime habit now. Best app I’ve ever purchased, I’ve never felt so good about myself. Thank you Simple!!
