Simple Transfer does not use or transfer your files to any external server. It provides a completely private website to be accessed by only computers that are directly connected to your local WiFi network. Your photos and videos cannot be accessed from the Internet.
* Simple Transfer offers Trial mode where you can download 10 items without any limitations. After trial mode expires, it switches to Free mode, where you can only transfer the oldest 50 items of each album. Photo Cleaner, Export to JPG, MOV/MP4 (H.264) are also not available in the free mode. To remove these limitations please consider upgrading to Premium version inside the app.

Simple, brilliant & it just works
This is a lesson in app making. It allows you to wirelessly move photos & videos from your PC to iPhone/iPad, and then actually delete or move them within your device as you see fit (i.e saved to your camera roll) As I'm sure you're all aware, synced pics & vids from iTunes can only be moved/deleted by re-syncing, which is appalling. Multiple GB of files will take a while, but it's a small price to pay, as is the price of the full app. Worth every penny
Used to work
It used to work amazing, no cables all wireless and just worked. But now, not sure if they did something new but it does not work, and what’s worst, I paid for one year of service from August. Don’ buy!
Edit: it is now fixed and functioning like it should. Love it. I do have one gripe, every time I close my phone, I have to authenticate it and stuff. Is there anyway to just have it active till you quit out of the app through the app through the phone or windows?

Thank you , someone achieves what apple fail to do, make it EASY, VERY VERY EASY to transfer photos from one apple device to another.
I searched the internet to find how to transfer photos and just came up with the horrendous convoluted mind boggling way APPLE seem to think is fine.
I can imagine all the apple gurus sat round a large table discussing how they are going to transfer from one device to another, and...feeling rather pleased with themselves.
Saying " I know it's an horrendous convoluted mind boggling way, but it works"
I'll write to the government and suggest they use apple file transfer as security as no one could ever steal any government secret files again.
Unless they download this app of course.
So to finish off, I stand and slow clap with a look of derision 🙄 at apple.
