A lot left to be desired

The app is good one negative thing I have to say about this app, is when you log in with finger print ID. Every few months it ask me to put in my password, this is the reason why I use finger print ID. ( as I don’t have to remember every single password) I don’t have this issue with any other app, just simply health app. I raised this issue with them, which they couldn’t resolve not even the department that’s responsible for this issues. Which is shocking, when you reset your password. You have to wait after 24 hours to login otherwise the system doesn’t recognise you hand updated your password. Not all the time that works, so I have to contact them for them to remove my details so I can re-register all over again. ( which is annoying) I was even ask if using a different browser and deleting cookies ( which I do on a day to day basis which is standard) Apparently any issues around the password isn’t to do with them but is to do with Australia as their responsible with regards to resetting the password so I was told by member of staff. This took me over a week to gain access to the app. It was when the staff simply removed my details I had to register. If you can fix this aspect of the app would be great and train staff on this aspect too or technical dept. That would be wonderful. I have tried all the steps and I go through this every three months hence why I left a review. So basically you don’t know how to fix this issue?

Thank you for your review. Our app has a two stage authentication and this is why it asks for your password as well. I'm not aware our passwords are to do with another company or country. We don't hold customer password details and therefore are unable to assist with regards to this. If, once you've tried to re-set your password, deleted browsing data and other suggestions, our only choice is to delete your whole account and for you to re-register.

Hide and seek app

To make a claim for day admission a form is required for the hospital to endorse. How simply planned it would be to download said form. But no. ‘We don’t have that facility’. In this day and age? Really? You either have to fill in an online request (done that, no form yet) or when you phone in there is no human just a message to leave a voicemail asking for the form to be sent. (Done that as well, still nothing) Btw, there is no clear signposting stating you need a form and where to find it, or if the hospital actually provide it. Like my old school report used to say - Could do better.
Edit: I received a response saying Simply Plan are no longer sending out forms and the hospital discharge should be uploaded.
1) This information should be on the app site. Perhaps it is and I missed it.
2) Try getting a discharge form from a busy hospital. We said we needed one to claim on a plan and they said we hadn’t been charged for anything so what’s to claim back? Got one … eventually.
Updated to 3 as I at least got a response.

Sorry to hear you couldn't get through to us. With reference to claiming for day admission, all we require is an image of your discharge paper showing confirmation you were admitted for the day and discharged the same day. This is then uploaded when you make your claim online. We don't require the hospital to sign our claim forms any more. Please call us on 0370 908 3481 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday should you require any further assistance.

What happened to the simplyhealth app?

Had to update my simplyhealth app and it turned into simply consult. Why? I don’t need to use the GP service’s or make a physio appointment. I have my own GP and physio and just need to claim health costs back. Why did I then need to download a different simply health app to try to simplify claim management, only once more to have GP services and physio appointment services pushed at me? Confused and somewhat annoyed!

Thank you for your review. We’ve recently launched a brand new app, SimplyPlan, to make it easier to manage your Simplyhealth account. As well as being able to quickly make a claim, you can check on the status of your existing claims and entitlements. SimplyPlan also allows customers quick and easy access to SimplyConsult, our specific app for customers who want to make use of our online GP and Physio services.
