SYNCING - If you are having problems Syncing your app. Please follow this advice. Place your device in an area with good WiFi (recommended) / data connection start sync and leave. AUTO-LOCK and syncing - this may cause problems with the data download - keep phone screen alive or turn-off auto-lock during sync if there is a problem.

During THe Summer Months
I use this app everyday during the Summer Season to plan our weekends away. I was particularly pleased to see the reintroduction of the recommendations written by members, which is a big help when choosing sites to stay at. However, it would be good to re introduce the favourites tab, lost years of our favourite campsites when this was removed with any notice!!!
Needs refinement
OK, but not brilliant, when it comes to searching for a site or basic information, but unfortunately let down by the booking platform (shared with the website) which is very unhelpful in finding availability if you are flexible about dates. It has a ‘no availability those dates keep on trying some different dates’ approach rather than indicating when pitches are available. In one case booking details had to be entered before any indication of the site being closed for the season! On some iPhones it is near impossible to make a booking at all as the page doesn’t scroll sufficiently for the input area to be revealed above the onscreen keypad it presents. I’ve now discovered a booking can just about be managed with a workaround, if you wish to persevere, by completing the form from the bottom up (unit size first) rather than completing it top-down before pressing submit.
Absolutely hopeless to use
I’ve just about given up trying to use this app. It’s so hit and miss. Most of the time it’s impossible to log in so the price is not adjusted for the club discount and therefore you cannot go ahead and book. Really, really frustrating. It’s been like this for quite some time so I’m shocked that nothing has been done about it. I’ve resigned myself to believing I’ve wasted my membership fee as my one and only visit to a club site was horrendous. I believe this club is mainly for caravan owners. Those with tents wanting to find a good campsite to pitch are sold extremely short. There’s no way in a million years I would have attempted to pitch an air tent on the scrub ground we were offered. It was shamefully inadequate. So this, coupled with the horrendous app has just about finished me off.
