SiWriter Pro 1.6

I used to use a "Quinkey" with BBC Micro about 30 years ago, and got up to a good speed with it, touch typing (one handed) faster than I could two-finger type on the "real" keyboard. The demise of the BBC Micro meant that the Quinkey became obsolete.
There is a modern, USB-connected version of the Quinkey, the CyKey, which works with a modern PC (it's on my shopping list). This, of course, can't work with the iPad, although a Bluetooth version is in development.
This app, however, goes a long way towards solving the problem. It uses the touch-sensitive screen of the iPad as a "Microwriter" (Quinkey) type type pad. While not quite as sensitive as a three dimensional keypad, it does work very well. It took just a few minutes for the keystroke shapes to come back to my memory. No hardware to carry round with the iPad, either! An absolute bargain at 75p for the full version. A very well-crafted app.
