Was better before update to iOS 11
It used to be more instinctive before update, now all you have to do is press screen when green circle appears, it's less about jump experience and more about timing to touch the screen. Also I paid for this game and never had any adverts, now advert pops out every few jumps. Overall very good game but spoiled by recent updates in my opinion.
Simple yet not so easy
My original review still stands after several years' play.
Like the real thing, on the surface there is not much to it, but get into it and it will provide entertainment for ages, just don't try to do it all at once. Very relaxing and well worth the time and money - just don't expect wild game play, just great graphics, sound fx and most importantly (like the real thing) make sure your sense of timing is spot on.
The updated version offers better graphics but the pro controls take a bit of getting used to. The mode for casual players does now seem a bit more stacked in favour of the AI competition, presumably to encourage purchase of upgrades but then you can just ignore all that and just while away the time and be happy to finish 15th or thereabouts. It’s only a game, after all.

This is a really good game and I would definitely recommend it. A slight disadvantage is that the fails when you crash are not very realistic. It is simply land, and then fall over to the side. It would be a bit better if the ski jumper rolled over and over instead of just falling over to the side melodramatically! Overall this game is a really cool game and I would definitely recommend this to everyone reading this review!
