* Over 3 million skin checks - 50K+ skin cancers detected *
SkinVision is a medical service that provides an immediate risk assessment.
Skin checks with our clinically validated technology are affordable and potentially covered by your health insurance provider. You can buy a single risk assessment or purchase unlimited checks to effectively monitor your moles for 3 or 12 months (no subscription).
You can use some features of SkinVision for free including our risk profile and skin type quizzes, storing images of your moles and accessing UV information in your area.
Skin cancer is a global and growing problem. It's estimated that 1 in 5 people will develop it in their lifetime. More people are diagnosed with skin cancer each year than all other cancers combined.
Early detection is key to prevention and timely treatment. In fact, over 95% of skin cancers can be successfully treated if they are found early. This is why dermatologists recommend performing skin checks every 3 to 6 months. Now you can do this simply with SkinVision on your smartphone.
Our checks use an algorithm to assess your mole or skin spot for cancerous signs. Our service is quality assured by our team of dermatology experts. Our users have received more than 3.5 million risk assessments and we’ve found over 50,000 cases of melanoma and other types of skin cancer.
The SkinVision app is a regulated medical device with European CE marking. We care about your privacy and are ISO certified for information security and medical device management. SkinVision is trusted by insurance companies worldwide for the early detection of skin cancer. SkinVision has partnerships with leading health insurers, cancer clinics and research universities in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.

Ratings and Reviews
Top quality app
I don’t usually write a review, but the SkinVision app is so good, I feel the need to let everyone else know. Firstly, the layout and format are very clear and user friendly. Secondly, the high definition camera used to detect the moles/spots is great and again easy to use...although would be good to turn camera around as I’ve spots on my back I can’t reach. Thirdly, with a feature I wasn’t aware of, the spots that came back ‘high risk’ were flagged to the routine quality check team of professionals, were they had a closer look. I received a message less than 24hrs later informing me to monitor these ones regularly. You can generate reports and bring them to your dr for further review. Overall, very impressed and would recommend to others! 10/10

Freezing and out of focus images since changing phones
Have been using the app for months and it’s been so helpful in keeping track of changes to my mole and giving risk ratings for peace of mind.
Unfortunately, since changing my phone to the new iPhone last week, every image I take is out of focus and clicking the “retake” option just makes the app freeze. Using the standard manual option allows a better image to be taken, but again gets stuck there and doesn’t let you save it for reference or send for assessment (as in stuck on that page, I realise it doesn’t include the immediate algorithm option).
It feels like an app issue for newer phone models or even because of the new update as I’d never had this problem before, and the camera works fine in other apps (even SkinVision’s own ‘standard’ mode). Would be great to have the issue fixed as I’m on a paid subscription and unable to take/store/assess any images or navigate without the app crashing.

Fantastic app - Thank you Skin Vision!
I came across this app when researching the mole in question and couldn’t believe I hadn’t heard of it before. Within seconds of submitting a picture Skin Vision advised that the mole was High Risk; within 24 hours thereafter I had a further update from the team advising that I should see a professional. I took that advice and within a short space of time I’ve seen a dermatologist and had an excision biopsy. I was very lucky to have the quick turnaround by the dermatologist, and I am now awaiting results which can take several weeks unfortunately. I am at least glad I have taken a step in the right direction and that Skin Vision validated my thoughts that the mole was perhaps suspect, since I was starting to doubt myself!
Thank you Skin Vision for taking the time to help others.
