Needs to become smarter

I love this app, have been using it for 6 years, but the statistics and trends features are in need of a redesign. I log notes every night and have a quite a list, but the statistics with these haven’t really improved, it would be great to see more crossovers of my notes and the other data gathered and most importantly provide me recommendations to improve my sleep, I don’t know, maybe when the air pressure is low and it’s a full moon maybe I shouldn’t have coffee because historically that resulted in a bad night of sleep. Apparently my snoring has decreased considerably in the past few months, the app has the data to tell me why, yet it doesn’t.

And to make it worse, I have doubts on those statistics, I often feel like I sleep so bad, yet I found that the app thinks otherwise, some things don’t seem to add up.

I never once pressed that green happy face button in the morning, and I look at the trends screen and can’t figure out why, it’s just a collection of all sorts of charts, this was fine 6 years ago but expectations have changed, I tried the life cycle app, but couldn’t use it for more than a couple of weeks because it has the same problem, it’s just aggregating and displaying data in charts and not doing anything meaningful with it, but unlike sleep cycle and it didn’t have the killer feature.

I’m a really bad sleeper I’m currently 15 years old and throughout my school life I always go sleep late , like really late . And I don’t know how long I’ve slept or if I got enough sleep (I usually didn’t) I didn’t care about sleep UNTIL i was just ok the App Store and I found this . I was thinking “wow let’s see if this actually works” I mean it says it can track ur sleeping and everything so I gave it a shot on a Sunday night. Usually I hate Monday’s and can’t sleep properly on Sunday night but OOf I really liked that sleep . It felt good and I woke up feeling refreshed thanks to the waking up phase alarm it basically wakes you up when you are in a light sleep. So Yh then I woke up to my sleep chart and it was so interesting , I saw the times I was in deep sleep and the times I was in my light sleep that’s just so interesting. Also a tip aswell it says it needs your mic to be on the whole night next to your nightstand and leave it face down , I didn’t know this but you can lock your phone and the mic will still be on in the background. But yh it’s really helpful and I recommend using it . I am using the free version right now and that’s good enough for me. Anyways enjoy .
