The good news is- it works.
I can log my waist measurements easily with the Bluetooth measuring tap and get my measurements immediately updated to the Health app. Perfect.

Now, what this badly needs is a Siri shortcut to take me DIRECTLY to the Waist measurement entry screen. A series of shortcuts to take me to several places in the app would also really benefit.
That way, I can create a button to take me directly to where I need to go.

Now if I could use Bluetooth shortcuts to recognise the tape has connected to the phone and get the app to automatically open- even better, but a Siri shortcut to get to where I need to be would be HUGELY useful.

The app connects perfectly with scales & smart tape. It just works & accurately records weight from scales & measurements from tape. Very straightforward, shows progress. No bells & whistles but works properly & syncs with Apple Health. Switched from Withings App which was fancy but glitchy & inaccurate. Slimpal let’s me weigh, measure, record & get on with my day.

UPDATE A new update the same day as my review has made the app slightly more complicated & a little less user friendly. There used to be huge scales & smart tape images on front page - just press that & get on scales/measure. Now have to go into devices where they’ll flick between connected & disconnected. Front page was better before - hopefully it will revert back with next update.

REQUEST Submitted a request to manually enter weight on date of choice - very useful if you started weight loss program before buying the scales or if weighing yourself away from home. This would then reflect accurately in your graphs & stats showing weight loss & progress.

Downloaded, synchronised with blue tooth scales, Worked once, now doesn’t.

Just more litter on my Home Screen.
