Original review: The content quality varies, which is down to personal knowledge and preferences - there’s no doubt about that. I find the app pretty cool. What I’d like to see is some additional resources or if you wish a fact check, something to back the statements up. E.g. today I got this fact ‘A sheep, a duck and a rooster were the first passengers in a hot air balloon.’ I was immediately interested but there was no way to learn more about it other that researching it on my own. Fair enough but I think this app would be way better with ‘read more’ feature for scientific content, historical events and profiles of remarkable people mentioned in the content it shows you.

Another cool thing would be bookmarks. I’d like to save some stuff for future reference without the need to look through the calendar.

Oh and that rant of the other user about inappropriate jokes. How about you leave a choice to the user? Something like a ‘safe mode’ that can be disabled? Of course some of the stuff can be upsetting but let’s not get crazy and give people an option. Policing users who can decide for themselves is a bad practice in my humble opinion.

We have been busy adding all the suggestions and you will be very happy to know that dark mode will be in our new release. The new release will hopefully be out sometime next month!

Most pleasant of all notifications

I can’t wait to get my daily portion of “awesome” and it comes every day at whatever time I set it up. I never remember about it though and when the time comes and I’m buzzed I look at my phone halfheartedly knowing very well that not much good in life ever came by doing so....And then my face is lit by a smile so healthy it almost feels devilish! It’s only half a minute, if even, but it’s such a nice distraction from everything else that it’s almost therapeutic. Easy, simple, light, interesting and funny! Wish I was describing myself there!
Get it, set it and let it gently nudge you with your 5 (actually 6) a day!
Btw, how can I make my iPhone look so cool like it the preview pictures? The white all over is unnervingly appealing!

I’ve only just downloaded the app and yet I already love it ! To go into more detail, I love how you can save the notes given as I might want to re-read the note in the near future. I also love how if you don’t know the person the note is written by, the app gives you a link connected through the app, giving you detailed biography on who she or he was. One final reason why I love ‘Small Talk’, is because it gives you notes on 5 different subjects; Knowledge, Humour, On this day, Word of the day, and Tip of the day. I personally enjoy this app and recommend it to everyone !
