SmallFish is a project based on the Stockfish chess engine. It uses the latest Stockfish chess engine (Stockfish 16.0 SFNNv6 neural networks), rated about Elo 3600+ and is the strongest chess app on the App Store.
SmallFish offers you three distinct ways to improve your game. You can review your game with comments, or study how Stockfish thinks, or track your progress. No in-app purchase, no ads, no data tracking, it's totally free!

Best engine with extra functions
Update, found bug where when saving a set of four games (pgn) from email. First game is overwritten and inaccessible. Happens without exception.
It is clean and effective.
Btw thanks for the fix of the bug where analysis could be lost by making an alternate move.
I do have a suggestion, currently it locks play (of analysed game). It might be an improvement if it allowed you to explore alternative lines as variations. Most major engines do this. However no pressure, this is an excellent app as stated.
Amazing
Completely amazing app and suitable for all skill levels particularly professionals, strong club players or those wanting to analyse their games or play at different elo ratings. That it’s free and has levels that are suitable for complete beginners is a bonus and makes it the best chess app by far.

It is great fun
I played the first time and lost. Still enjoyed it though! I really like to see the computer thinking about the next move. Then he suggest moves to me that I’m not sure I agree with. Lighthearted and less serious than the Stockfish app.
