We had out Smart board installed today and it took a little time to work out which app would run along it, we finally found the qr code to scan which lead to Smart kapp. Fundamentally this is the basic start up of what you want from this app. I found that although you can scroll across the whiteboard on the app, the board did not follow and you had to manually swipe the board across. I also had a lot of trouble keeping connected but I believe this was down to our own connection and will update the review as I have more experience with it.
To progress I think being able to share images from the device to the screen would be a great feature. We take lots of images on the iPads and it would be nice to be able to send a few of these on to the screen for all to view.
I think text boxes would also be a nice feature to add alongside the handwriting feature.
White boards re-imagined
Our teams design leading software applications for the compliance market place. We have acres of white boards filled with great ideas. Habitually people photo them in the hope of preserving and communicating the results of meetings. Smart Kapp takes this ad-hoc process away allowing constant refresh while guaranteeing earlier content is retained. In conjunction with the Smart panels we can invite clients and partners to collaborate across the world. Great technology transforms great old office essentials.
