Now You can easily find metallic objects that are hidden underground, behind walls etc. , or be a treasure hunter or ghost hunters, also see a reading trend through the graph.
Simple app in your device called Gauss Meter are used for measuring the Earth's magnetic field but can't detect silver, gold, copper coins (non-ferrous - no magnetic field).
This Magnetometer app require a magnetic sensor otherwise does not work.

Very Impressed
I got this after seeing a video about and thought it was fake. After finding the app I can assure you it is not. This has been very fun to play around with.
Hmmmmmm
This is a good app and actually works which Impressed me. I tried using it just as a sort of test In my room and got some results. It reacted very well when I put it near a lamp with metal around it and it went up to the highest point when they touched. I really wanted a metal detector that detects gold too, but when I put it near gold, it wouldn't change. I think it is a good app but it could have some improvement.
Insanely bad
One review wrote “do not spend £100 on a metal detector “ I’d agree with this. A £100 metal detector will be bad. Maybe £400 yes. This app, however, is an UTTER WASTE OF TIME. I am a detectorist, this app does NOT TURN YOUR IPHONE INTO A METAL DETECTOR!!! No amount of ‘waving it in the air in an 8 shape’ will change this. Disgusting that these people are trying to steal your money with a so-called app. If I could give minus stars, let alone zero, I would. Developers should be ashamed and get a real job not con gullible people from their money.

We are sorry to hear that you don't like our app. The app is free, and you don't need to pay anything to use it. Most smartphones have a built-in magnetic sensor that can be used to detect items that are magnetic. Please pay attention to the instructions, and you'll be as satisfied as most of the users of this app. Of course, it won't be as sensitive as a £400 metal detector, which is designed only for one job, but in many scenarios, it's sensitive enough to do its job. Before use, be sure to follow the calibration instructions: turn the phone in the air in a figure-eight shape at the location where you are taking measurements. We also recommend determining the location of the sensor inside the smartphone by testing it with metal. We do not recommend the use of a strong magnet, as it may damage the calibration or the smartphone. Best Regards, EXA Support Team
