It has to be approved on my TV every 2nd time I am trying to connect and I need the physical remote for this which kinda defeats the purpose of replacing the physical remote.
The app itself is fine but this is quite a flaw.
Meh....
When it works it's great. I paid for the pro and it's kinda worth it as the track pad is head and shoulders much less painful than using the up/down/left/right on the Samsung remote, if you use the web browser on the tv
THE ISSUE IS everytime I go to use the app it requests permission through the TV, meaning I have to find the controls and accept. The reason I got this app was to turn off the TV when my daughter gets up too early and turns on the tv. I'd just then turn it off from the app, whilst still in bed.
This has been an issue for a while now, and happens EVERYTIME there is an update. However this time there's been no fix and the app is still not connecting.
Not free and doesn’t work
My smart remote stopped working and I wanted to be able to access prime/Netflix etc. This sounded perfect but realised pretty quick you have to pay for basic functions such as the left/right buttons therefore making the free version virtually useless. I paid, selected what I wanted to watch and 5 minutes later the app didn’t work. Have to turn off my tv every time I want to use it due to some kind of connection issue. Not that I needed it as my usual sky remote works but TV guide isn’t available on newer TVs.
