Needs work

Was directed to use this app from the other one and told can’t go back. The font size for the temperature for each room is too small making it difficult to read. You have to click on each one to see this now whereas before it was on the home page. It would be nice to be able to have two people logged on at the same time as currently it won’t allow this meaning you have to keep logging back into the app each time someone else has used it.

Now works great

My initial review was 1 star but this information may help someone out there. When I first had my air con installed this week, the app would always struggle to get status and would not do any commands 95% of the time. With my unit (Vertu plus) there’s a little USB stick that pushes into the unit to give it wifi capability. I had reseated it and it didn’t really make much difference. Now given there’s no real antennas in these USB sticks, the signal is really poor and unless it’s close to the router, the Wi-Fi signal shows on the unit but doesn’t work or the Wi-Fi signal flickers on and off. I guess some of you with other units don’t have a screen to see what’s going on. If any of you have a certain Wi-Fi security camera brand you’ll know what rubbish internal Wi-Fi is like on these type of appliances. Anyways, I changed my router Wi-Fi to be a mesh Wi-Fi network so there’s really strong signal throughout and now (plus with latest update) it gets status 99% of time and it does the command almost instantly. I’ve done 4 stars because they should use a better method of providing Wi-Fi in their products other than useless dongles. Hope this helps someone. Just remember, even though you can connect it to your home network with some troubles, unless the signal is really strong, you’ll have nothing but issues. Cheers

Disappointing

I have three Midea air conditioners and was prompted to transfer to this app from Midea Air. The migration process didn’t work but worse, after setting up manually, I find that there is a significant loss of functionality.

In particular, I use the app to monitor two of the air conditioners which are supposed to be following a daily sequence of on and off operations to maintain a reasonable temperature in an unoccupied building. They frequently miss operations so I use the app to check on their status during the day. With Midea Air I could see the on/off status and temperature of all the air conditioners on the home screen. With this new app, all this functionality is gone so, to check what they are doing, I have to go onto each device in turn which makes the process rather tedious.

Please developers, restore the full functionality of the home screen as per Midea Air.
