Absolutely great with only one criticism

I love this app and even got the pro upgrade. I’ve made several attempts over the last few years and never lasted more than a month but I think now is the time I’m ready. You know when you’re ready. It’s when YOU decide to do it, not when others are pressuring you. Some people find they literally just wake up and think “yanno what, im done”. I’m into my 7th day. I’ve used this app before but have never fully committed to it like I am now. It’s an amazing app and if you’re wondering whether the pro upgrade it’s worth it then it is. Especially if you think you’ll be making a few attempts before finding you can stick to it. I’d definitely recommend using this app combined with NRT (such as a decent e-cig). The ONLY criticism I have is that you can’t add your own feelings, triggers, or activity you’re involved in etc when you add a craving. You can make a note at the end but if you’re like me and ‘at an appointment’ or ‘feeling unwell’ the only option you can click is ‘Other’. It would be good if there were more options, maybe even just somewhere I could edit what some of the triggers/feelings/activities are. Besides that, love it. Best stop smoking up I’ve ever used and I’ve tried so many it’s unbelievable!

Love the quit bot!

Ive tried so many times and failed, this time ive gone for the pro version which is imo totally worth the extra money. There is a quit bot that really keeps you motivated (checks in twice a day) - this bot is my dream life partner!

The app in itself is useful and one of the best ive seen (whether pro or not).

A couple of things i think would make it even better would be the badges, id like a badge per day for life tbh but it seems to jump and leave you hanging at future points in your quit journey for me the first few weeks are relatively ‘easy’ as youre so focussed on quitting it takes so much energy and the fight consumes you but its when the honeymoon period is over (and you’re bored of fighting) that i start wanting to smoke again and secondly id love an app which talked about the quit journey not just health but explicitly what you expect on each day for example day 3 is hell, day 4 cravings start to decline by 40% etc so you can see when things will ease, i can find this timeline online but would love an app to tell me it :)

If you want to finally quit - get this

Smoked 20 a day for over 15 years. Apart from pregnancy, the longest I had ever managed to quit before was a couple of weeks and that was a living hell. I have in the past tried nicotine replacement and even hypnotherapy - nothing worked. Thought I would give this a go and honestly - it's amazing. I'm 6.5 months in from quitting cold turkey and I would never have done it without the app. The running totals of money saved, health improving, cigs not smoked etc totally gave me a stubborn motivation not to give in and set it all back to 0. I liked being able to keep a diary and a note of cravings, even if it was me just writing 'aaaaaargggh I want a cigarette!!!!' it made me feel like it was something to do to 'manage' the craving. I found it useful to write down over and over why I was quitting on the craving pages.
I won't say it has been completely easy quitting as it was still a fight, but this app felt like my little pro-quitting buddy! Get the full version so you can unlock the missions etc. All I can say is thank you to the creators - you may have saved my life!
