The story behind this game is that my smartphone got damaged, requiring me to revert back to an old phone. Suddenly I knew the smartphone was missing something and the idea for a accurate Snake remake was born.
Snake '97 is an homage to the classic mobile phone game programmed in 1997.
By carefully analyzing the classic gameplay, timing and controls, this Snake '97 remake is one of the most accurate available.

Have Snake fun!

So much to say, you have a selection of vintage Nokia phones to select as your game screen, the snake is true to the original and I played it a lot on my old Nokia phone when it was a “new” game lol. This is definitely the best snake game and true to the original. A real gem in the era of complicated and over hyped phone games that require internet connection, this snake game does not! So it’s I’ll always play even on the subway! Enjoy and thanks to the developers for this free and ad free game!!!!
The abolishment of the snake game fakes this is a fake bring back the original
seedes
This is not the original snake game they make near impossible to collect the coin things because it’s so close to the edge whenever I try to get it I just die it makes no sense at all I don’t recommend this game to anyone it’s terrible unless u get proper arrows or controls so I actually know what keys are up and down so it’s easier to play then I will mark it a 5 star but for now it’s a one star I cry myself to sleep at night because of this game it’s so upsetting that U would take a Mickey out of the snake game this game is a classic from back in the day u have ruined it I can’t believe u done this I’m getting angry real angry you want it u got it right here right now I can’t believe u done this i encourage anyone reading this to start a war to abolish the fake snake game and bring back the real game
Amazing game!

This game is absolutely amazing! I love how the buttons are placed to suit your split second reactions and also how you can switch between being able to go through walls and whether you have mazes or not. I also love the fact that you can change the speed of the snake!I have given this game a four star as there is one small problem: there is no pause button! I've lost count of the number of times I have had to start again because I've had to answer a message. If the makers of this amazing game added a pause button then it would be absolutely top notch.
Snakes alive?

I don’t know what I was expecting, absolutely lovely game plays nicely, am I being daft or is there a little delay when the snake changes direction near the walls? It feels like cheating 😀anyway, why 3 stars? Easy really lovely game shame about the platform! The need of physical buttons is what’s missing, it’s not the developers fault, but you can’t take a game and put it on a platform like an iPhone without it feeling wrong. The buttons on the Nokia gave the game its charm it’s playability it’s meaning! Take the buttons away, use a featureless screen and it just doesn’t feel right. Shame really, probably just me, so sorry to be negative
Game over got a whole lot more interesting! Every game now tracks your stats: duration, course corrections, near deaths, distance traveled, and snake length.
A new Stats screen lets you dig into your all-time records, personal bests per phone model, recent games, and 27 challenges to unlock across 7 categories.
All measurements use real-world units: your Snake's length in centimeters/inch, distance in meters/feet.
