i was home alone, i’m younger and so i thought ill order the shopping in. paid for the bag fees, extortionate delivery ext..not happy but it happens. then it came to the shop. half my items are missing, again. happens but not happy.. but i understand they refunded half my items but why did it decide to just not show up? for reference.. i ordered at 9pm. my slot was for 10:10 and that rolled around, not here. no biggy people run late..then 11pm. so i ring the store as instructed. no answer. ring snappy shopper, no answer. ring another store.. they say they’ll sort it out. they don’t. i’ve ordered this stuff for my tea btw!! so 12,1 roll around and i think i need food to sleep. end up with a mcdonald’s that wasn’t nice either, but that’s not the point here. messaged snappy shopper threw email, instagram. like instructed and went to bed. i’ve woke up to my order still being down as accepted.. a message from snappy shopper it’ll take 10, TEN days to get my money back. livid! do not try this app unless you want this experienceedit: thank you for the reply, the store i ordered from was One Stop prescott road. this isn’t a one off either. o rang another store and they said “oh my god another snappy shopper issue” so i’m guessing there fed up of hearing about it!! solve this problem.
Frustrating to read your experience. Snappy Shopper is a market place solution meaning we host retailer groups and independent stores on our solution but do not have direct control over their store team nor their drivers. We supply the technology and our operating revenue stems primarily from the service charge (minus payment gateway charges). We'd appreciate if you could spare time to send an email to contact@snappyshopper.co.uk and name the store. Most stores would perform much more satisfactory than described (up-to-date stock listed and keeping better to advised delivery estimate), so in these situations we suggest using other stores that could be listed in your area. The message from Snappy Shopper regarding the refund suggests a cautious time frame due to variations in the banking system. However, in many cases, if not most, funds will be returned within 24hrs and often have not left the customer account being only a reserve on the order amount. Edit: Thank you for updating the review. An account manager will speak to the One Stop store about your experience. Regarding the "solve this problem", the points listed (menu item availability not updated and late deliveries) are at the retailer/driver side. These aspects are managed by the store team, which is not run/owned/controlled by Snappy Shopper. However, in cases of consistent poor service as a last resort we can remove stores from our Snappy Shopper ordering platform.
