Honestly the best Resource for A level chemistry

I purchased the snap revise AQA As Chemistry course last December (2017) and I can proudly say, it was the best investment I’ve made in a long while. The videos, summary sheets and notes are concise and straight to the point without all the extra unnecessary jargon from the text books, which I think is absolutely incredible. I've been using the resources to consolidate the information that I've previously learnt in class and to "read up" on certain topics before the next lesson. Having initially struggled with the first few weeks of my As Chemistry course, these videos were a life saver and have guided me well.

For once I can actually say that I’m looking forward to the A Level/ year 2 course.

Not great

I have the Snaprevise courses for Biology and chemistry OCR A A levels. The videos are useful however there are far too many mistakes! Not only did I notice many spelling or grammatical mistakes, there are also mistakes in the information being taught!! When paying for a revision tool you expect perfection (especially for the price of snaprevise!). Not only this, you pay for your exam board but they add unnecessary information for other exam boards which is really confusing and in the long run is quite detrimental while they earn money for making one course for about 3 exam boards. Another issue is with the videos themselves. They often pause in the middle of the video and crash (this has happened on both my phone and laptop and to other people I know) and the only way to rectify it is to reload the whole website! Super annoying. This also sometimes goes so far as to completely crash the video so that it refuses to play for hours. Really disappointed in Snaprevise - for the price you’re paying it should be so much better than what you get! :(

Good for some subjects.

I really like this app. I’ve found it really helpful for A level biology particularly. And I’m sure other sciences it’s also pretty good. However, to the developers, please could subject content be added for more subjects. For example, in the history course there is no content knowledge, there is only skills in source evaluation and essay writing. You can’t analyse a source or write an essay without the knowledge. I know there are lots of different periods of history, for different exam boards, but without the content aspect, you can’t do very well in exams at all. Also adding more subjects in general would be great like politics, languages, economics ect...

But really like this app, nice clean format. I think this could be very successful.
