It play rsn super nes files. It can also play

Nintendo DS (2sf)
PlayStation(psf,minipsf)
Nintendo 64 (usf),
NES(nsf,nfse),
Megadrive(vgm),
PC-engine(hes),
Gameboy(gbs),
Game Gear(vgm),
Master System(vgm)
Music files via in app purchase.
With SnesMusic you can listen SNES music without having to bring your SNES every where you go. How convenient !!!

You can add your .RSN files with iTunes File Sharing very easily

you can also download RSN files with safari, SnesMusic will open it automatically and add it to your music library!

HI FI sound quality but still good old 16bit chiptune ;)
Playlist support mixing different game system (mix 8bit and 16 bit chiptune !!).
Cover support find images with the magnifier button and capture screen or download image with the + button or just a two finger touch.
Airplay and bluetooth headset support
Background support, music will keep playing even if you use surf the web or read mails !!
Control available on lock screen and multitasking bar.

SnesMusic does not support spc files alone.
Snes spc file must be put in a rsn or 7z or zip archive
Megadrive vgm or vgz file must be in a zip or 7z file,
PC-engine hes file must be in zip or 7z file with m3u file
Playstation psf minipsf files must left in original zip 7z or rar file
(You cannot play SNES games with this app!)

Forced quit

App is a great idea but after having 30+ different sounds downloaded the app crashes and won't open again, even if permissions have been reset had to redownload all music again, getting refund on this, will buy again if service improves but until then I won't pay for a broken app.

People should read before purchasing

Amazed to see all the negative reviews. Some people really should read what the app is about before buying. This app is great if you remember games on the old SNES, NES, Megadrive, PS1 etc etc. The only thing stopping me giving this a 5 Star is that you can’t download the songs all at once either by system or job lot which means a lot of clicking also the lack of ability to be able to export the music. It’ll probably never happen, but there’s a lot of cherished memories on here and loads I haven’t heard before.

Thanks developer I have been blissfully reminiscing while listening to MARIO 64.

Absolute earworms!

As an obsessive Nintendo girl who grew up in the 90s, I can’t tell you how satisfying it is to have the end credits theme of Super Mario World going around your head, only to be able to listen to it! Thank you for this absolute gift to gamers.
