This game is a lot of fun, very addictive and very engaging. It has plenty of features, the gameplay is good and it is a great way to get hours of entertainment.

However, it can be a bit demoralising when you score and realise that, due to a bug, the opposition also score at exactly the same time (it’s clearly a bug as the two goals partially overlap in the text commentary on the screen).

Also, do NOT transfer into the Cypriot league (unless you want to be there permanently, anyway)!! I moved to a top-tier Cypriot team but this league has a bug which means you don’t get the offered the chance to move clubs, so I’m stuck there until the problem is fixed (a bit disappointed that this latest release has failed to resolve either of these issues).

The newspaper reviews seem ridiculously harsh, too, with anything but a perfect 10 ‘star man’ rating causing critical or “room for improvement’ headlines.

Overall, though, a couple of blemishes in an otherwise very good product.

Okay so the overall gameplay is okay, not great, but not awful.

Avoid the casino at all costs, it’s the easiest way to lose your hard earned (or purchased) gold. All the games there are geared in favour of the house and any wins you get will far outweigh your losses.

Earning gems (and gold for that matter) is like pulling teeth past a certain point, especially if you’re eyeing up the best pair of boots but don’t fancy forking out the cash for what is essentially only a temporary upgrade, don’t be that mug who pays for this nonsense. This aspect is a real shame and is repeated several hundred times in other games. It detracts from the overall experience, devs, if you want to earn money do it the old fashioned way and make people pay to access your product rather than temporarily “enhance” their experience with non permanent upgrades, this cash grabbing attitude across the app and game developer community is really growing wearisome and is utterly vulgar.

I have been playing this game for a while, and although at one stage it was quite addictive, it has now become annoying beyond belief.
The cost of boots to help you progress is way out of reach, despite the update telling us that the boots had been re-priced/re-balanced to allow players to access them more easily.
Scenarios where you are winning 4-0, yet go on to lose the game 5-4 happen far too often.
Despite having purchased all the luxury items available, the scenario still pops up that your girlfriend/coach/team mates want you to go shopping, you can’t buy anything, so the scenario reduces your relationships
The so called ‘free replay’ does not work and constantly tells me there is a problem loading the video.
There is a bug that sometimes at the end of the season, your stats for the season reset themselves to 0, thus enabling you not to move to a better club.
Offers from other clubs, despite you scoring 70-80 goals a season, always seem to be from clubs a league below or bottom of your current league.
I really am at the stage of deleting this game, but was hoping the update would improve the game and make it more enjoyable, it didn’t, and it has actually made the game take yet another step backwards.
If you like spending real money to get success, then this is the game for you, if you don’t spend real money, you can waste hours getting nowhere and extremely frustrated.
