The main overview and real time displays are useful enough in telling you what’s going on now and graphs of what’s happened in the past but the historic reports tend to be in graphical format with no totals, plus some reports come up with nothing, as does the report export feature that, despite a screen full of data, tells me there’s no data to export.

Worst of all and why I give this a 2* is that there’s no historic data on what power has been exported to the grid or consumed by the house. The exported graph shows both export and import together - duh? But there is nothing to tell me what kWh totals I exported or consumed today, this month or this year.

These are key metrics in understanding how the system and my behaviour can get the best out of the system over time and I can’t believe I’m the first person to spot this.

It works but could be improved. For example it would be great if we could integrate with IFTTT so that we can receive alerts when solar battery is almost empty, or switch smart-plugs ON and OFF when solar battery is full or empty.

The app does a fine job of monitoring the inverter. It has not let me down in 8 months and provides all the information I could want. The inverter itself is fabulous value and so far has worked impeccably. I have a smart system called the Eddi that farms the excess energy and can heat your hot water tanks or heat store or in my case UFH. Having many 20+ kWh days in this record February in the UK! At this rate I will have paid for the inverter in 9 months!
