Hello, UK! Sound Off is a new way to journal with voice notes and original podcasts. You're the first in the world to try it. Be sure to send feedback, as new features and topics arrive all the time. Your feedback helps improve the app for everyone.

Voicing your thoughts is more free-flowing and closer to the way our minds like to think. There is no need to worry about carrying a journal or the perfect pen—simply open the app and tap to Sound Off.

Enjoy the freedom of thinking out loud. You can pause, mumble and stumble over your words to your heart's content. Start by talking about your day and see where it takes you.

Audio journaling is a great form of wellbeing self-care. Take a moment to voice what's on your mind. Reduce anxiety, improve sleep and productivity by journaling.

Your privacy is important, which is why recordings only save to your iPhone and Apple ID. Sound Off cannot access your recordings. Before deleting the app, check iCloud backup is complete in the Sound Off settings. Then, download the Sound Off app to any device linked to the same Apple ID, and your recordings will restore.

Journaling made easy

I used to be quite into writing physical diary entries - especially after a long day at work. The act of getting those thoughts out of my head and onto the page worked wonders for my mental health. Initially I was quite sceptical about this because I had a system that worked but believe me, this makes journaling way easier. I don’t have to worry about having the right pen or paper, I get reminded to Sound Off before I go to sleep and there’s also a lot of guided content on here which I’m yet to try. This feels like a cross between journaling and meditating and I’m also enjoying the ease of having all my entries available at my fingertips, wherever I happen to be. Give this a go, you will be surprised!

Great journaling app with undoubtedly many more features to come!

This is a great app to help guide you through journaling and just get your thoughts out. Voice journaling is something I hadn’t tried before before getting the app and it’s a really nice peaceful thing to do and help you understand the day better. The main benefit for me of using this in comparison to normal voice recordings is that there are guided journaling things on the app which is nice. Although there are certainly a few improvements to be made, it’s off to a great start and can’t wait to continue to use it.

Best mindfulness app yet!

A great, visionary new way of journaling! Just get all your thoughts out much faster than writing them to release your full stream of consciousness, I like to do mine a few times a week during a bubble bath to help me fully relax during my me time! I’ve noticed a marked improvement in my sleep & with the prompts from the guided sessions have been able to notice patterns in my worries that have no need to be there!
As long as you can make time for it (and you should! #selfcare) it’s a fab tool for mindfulness and insight into yourself ♥️
