"Soundmondo is a social sharing network for Yamaha synthesizer* sounds. You can save and share the sound of Yamaha synthesizers with music creators all over the world.
The Soundmondo iOS app gives you direct access to over 50,000 Yamaha synthesizer sounds.
Set Lists organize your Sounds into groups whether you're getting ready for a gig or categorizing your Sound library. Users of reface series, CP88/73 and YC61 can utilize built-in audition function to playback preset phrases on your connected synthesizers and keyboards, and also share sounds with friends using the built-in custom QR code generator/scanner.

Amateurish
So difficult to reset your password and why do you still have so much T&C that nobody reads or cares about to go through. No type in search for your country, so you have to see every country especially if you live in the UK or USA ! Get a professional team to sort this time consuming rubbish out Yamaha!
Essential App
I am using this app with the reface DX so I can only write about my experience in relation to the DX, not any of the other supported synths.
If you own a Reface DX (and I imagine any of the other reface series) then this app is an essential tool. And frankly, it’s superb. The way it allows you to browse and download presets is pretty much seamless. You don’t HAVE to upload anything to Yamaha if you don’t want but then all your patches are at the mercy of your iPad/iPhone storage and backup plan.
I’m docking it a star because it really could do with a single “upload all patches in the DX to a new set list” button. Assuming I didn’t miss such an option?
I only wish the app was a little less essential which it would have been if Yamaha had been even slightly more generous with the patch space. To not have any spare patch slots on a synth in 2021 is shockingly bad, even 2015 when it came out. But that’s no fault of the app.
Potentially a great idea but full of bugs.
It’s great to get access to artist signature sounds like Matt Johnson’s but after a few minutes the app crashes and the only way to get it back to work is uninstalling and reinstalling (loosing all your favourite sounds).
It requires immediate attention, Yamaha! Otherwise it’s just a huge missed opportunity!
