Seen worse but this needs improvement
The app itself is extremely useful, however there are some things that let it down terribly and could definitely do with being upgraded.
•The twitter updates section: when you click on it, the font jumps up in size until it is so large it fills the screen and you only have two or three words. It’s impossible to see the entirety of the update.
•Train cancellations: Obviously these happen. What would be useful for us as the client and the paying customer, would be to know WHY the train has been cancelled, usually at short notice. It’s extremely irritating to just see something saying cancelled with no explanation.
Those are my two main gripes. If they could be fixed it would vastly improve the app experience and usability.
Highlight number of changes if more than 0
Had so many terrible journeys including 45min detour with my daughter because I didn’t notice you had to change somewhere. Why can’t you just “highlight” that a journey needs a change!? Font is so small you can hardly notice.
Also like everyone here common journey needs to be able to be saved instead of going through the same search every time.
Please put an effort and improve.
Why 3 “common journeys”?
I don’t understand why they allow an odd number of favourite, or common, journeys. Surely most people go to, and return from, a destination which requires 2 journeys? So if you have 2 places you often travel to/from that requires 4 journeys. 3 seems stupid. I need 4 for when they bigger up the trains meaning I end up travelling to an alternative station.
Otherwise, it works okay for my needs. I still rely on National Rails emails for alerts as they removed this feature some time ago.
